From the moment you arrive, to the moment class is over, you will find yourself immersed among a group of women who will do everything in their power to support and encourage you. Low self-esteem won’t get a look in when you’re shimmying and shaking with fellow students, who will soon become friends before you know it.

Our lives are hectic. Between the children, your partner, work, your home, your social life, family time we are expected to find time for ourselves – a luxury that we rarely afford ourselves. LYB gives women the chance to take an hour out of their day and spend it on themselves – and what’s an hour? Especially when you consider the self-esteem boosting, dancing your socks off, shimmying in sequins mantra that LYB live by! It’s important to take time for ourselves, as sometimes our self-esteem can become a little worn down if we don’t.
We spend a lot of our time stationary – whether that be sat at a desk at work, or in front of the TV in the evenings. Whilst there’s nothing wrong with that, it is important to get our bodies moving once in a while, lest we become too comfortable with our stagnant routine. Confidence can be born from a lot of things, and if that means getting up and out once in while and moving our bodies, then LYB provides a supportive, body confident and self-esteem-boosting space from which to do that from.
